I studied Engineering (Mechatronics) at the University of Adelaide from 2008 to 2011 and graduated with first class honours. I now work as an Electrical Engineer in a multidisciplinary industry, so having an understanding of other disciplines is very useful.
Topics I’ve studied since completing university
My interests have evolved quite a bit in the last few years. It seems that the more I learn, the more my mind opens up, creating a hunger to learn even more. You can find a list here.
I started off by reading some self-help and success books, but this quickly expanded to:
- lessons on how to communicate better
- improve my memory (and tricks to remember things)
- health & fitness
- public speaking
- leadership
- engineering – revision of topics from uni and new courses to broaden my knowledge
- sensors
- atmosphere monitoring
- body language
- creativity
- confidence
- some autobiographies
- critical thinking, decision-making & problem solving
- social psychology and interactions
- positive psychology
- neuroscience
- medical books
- time management
- business management
- Spanish lessons
