I’ve put this page together to show the activities available in Adelaide. I usually attend the first few on a weekly basis.
This page was last updated on 23rd June 2019.
I’m about to travel around Europe and I’d be keen to find social groups like these – please contact me if you know of any groups worth visiting 🙂
Social Fitness Activities
STREET WORKOUT – Sundays 1-4PM
Outdoor ones are free. $5 donation at the Hang Fit Studio (Morphett Street, Adelaide).
465 Morphett Street, Adelaide (this gym is open Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM, $5 donation for casual sessions)
Lately the session tends to include some Acro Jam people & Lyra (aerial hoop).
CONTORTION (Guided stretching class) – Mondays 7-9PM
At South Australian Circus Centre (Cirkidz), 27 Fifth Street, Bowden (next to city)
Free, or donation if you wish
We usually go for food together afterwards.
GYMNASTICS – Mondays and Wednesdays 7:30PM-9:30PM, NOT public holidays
I’ll probably go Wednesdays only now, since Monday clashes with contortion
At Marion YMCA (Leisure and Fitness Centre) – Gymnastics SA State Competition centre
$15 ea for first 2 classes, $20 ea for 3rd/4th class, need to become a member after that
We often go for burgers afterwards.
